The Spider Man movies as we know them are dead (that's why ol Spidey is a zombie above).
Nikki Finke reports that Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire will not be returning to the Spider Man franchise. Spider Man 4 will be a reboot of the entire shebang. A couple days ago, I
blogged about how no one cared about Spider Man because of all the upcoming Marvel movies. Well, I gotta say, I think the reboot of the franchise is a great idea. Get a hip director (hello Neill Blomkamp) some hot young stars (hell, uh, not so sure about that one) and we're off. Of course it has to be avatarized aka, it must be in 3D IMAX.
